1. Pre-launch status
This is a pre-launch Cookie Policy structure. The production WordPress site has not yet been audited for cookies, analytics technologies or other non-essential tracking. This policy does not claim that a particular cookie is currently used.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your device when you visit. Similar technologies may also store or read information from a device. They can be necessary for a service to work, help remember choices, or support analytics and marketing.
3. Categories to be confirmed
Following the production-site audit, this policy will identify each cookie or similar technology and state its provider, purpose, duration and whether it is strictly necessary. The review will cover, at minimum:
- strictly necessary cookies;
- preference or functional cookies;
- analytics and performance cookies; and
- marketing or third-party cookies, if any.
Production review required: audit the production WordPress site, including plugins, embedded content, analytics, tag managers and advertising integrations. Add the resulting cookie table and determine the consent mechanism before launch.
4. Consent
Where non-essential cookies are used, StaysAlert will provide an appropriate consent choice before setting them, as required by applicable law. This local Phase 1 prototype does not implement a cookie banner or consent mechanism.
5. Managing cookies
You can usually manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect how some websites function. Once the production audit is complete, this page will explain any site-specific preference controls.
