STAYSALERT NEWS
Meet StaysAlert: know what needs changing every morning
Managing one holiday let means keeping an eye on the market. Managing 20, 50 or 100 turns that into a job in itself.

Is the empty weekend priced too high? Is the property down the road actually cheaper once you put in the same dates and guests? Can it even be booked? Should you reduce the minimum stay — or leave everything alone?
That’s why we’ve built StaysAlert.
One question every morning
StaysAlert looks 30 days ahead across the properties you choose to monitor and answers:
Does anything need changing today?
Every property comes back in the same three windows:
0–7 days · URGENT
8–14 days · ACTIVE
15–30 days · WATCH
And with the same decisions:
PRICE · RAISE / HOLD / REDUCE / REVIEW
MINIMUM STAY · HOLD / CHANGE / REVIEW
The numbers change. The format doesn’t.
What could your guest genuinely book instead?
StaysAlert doesn’t treat an advertised nightly rate as market evidence. It compares the same dates, same guest party and same stay, checking actual bookability, minimum-stay rules, permitted check-in and check-out, and the final guest-facing price.
If your guest couldn’t actually book it, it isn’t a price comparison.
And we apply the same discipline to your own property. A base nightly rate isn’t compared with somebody else’s all-in guest price. Guest numbers and known stay charges have to be reconciled first.

Mira’s first Daily Action
Recently we put the production system to work on a real, anonymised Brighton holiday let. There were two empty nights approaching quickly: 29 September–1 October.
The property was priced at £168/night. It would have been easy to decide to discount.
Mira — the AI-assisted operational side of StaysAlert — checked the actual market instead. She established six genuinely bookable comparable stays for the same dates and guest party.
Market: £150.50–£195.50/night
Median: £169/night
Our property: £168/night
PRICE · HOLD
MINIMUM STAY · HOLD
Evidence · STRONG
Don’t panic-discount. The property was already almost exactly at the market median.
Sometimes the smartest change is no change
StaysAlert isn’t another black box whose purpose is to keep moving prices. It watches. It compares. It recommends. And when the evidence supports leaving the property alone, it says HOLD.
If the evidence isn’t strong enough to support a decision, it says REVIEW rather than guessing.
Built for portfolios
A manager shouldn’t need to open 20 listings every morning and manually work out which ones deserve attention. StaysAlert does the watching. Your team deals with the exceptions.
One property might need a price review. Another might need its minimum stay reconsidered. Eighteen might need absolutely nothing. Those eighteen are just as important.
What happens next
We’re beginning to put StaysAlert in front of holiday-let agencies, professional property managers and independent hosts.
Pricing starts at £14.99 + VAT per monitored property per month for the first 20 properties, reducing to £12.99 + VAT for properties 21–50.
No credits. No API charges. No long-term commitment.
StaysAlert doesn’t change your prices or stay rules behind your back. You remain in control.
If you manage holiday lets and would like us to monitor one property — or part of your portfolio — we’d like to hear from you.
